About AI Studios
What is AI Studios?
AI Studios is a platform for making videos with AI avatars. You type a script, and an avatar presents it, so you don't need cameras, actors, or a film crew.
Is an AI Studios video a deepfake?
No. AI Studios creates a new video from your script. It doesn't change the face or voice in existing footage.
Does AI Studios have an API?
Yes. Developers can create videos through the AI Video API. Click your profile icon and select API Docs to read the documentation.
Plans and team use
Is AI Studios a subscription service?
Yes. AI Studios is offered as a subscription. To see your plan, click your profile icon and select Billing.
Can my team work together in AI Studios?
Yes. On a Team plan, you invite people to a shared workspace. Each member uses a seat.

Credits
What are credits?
Credits are used when you export a video. 1 credit covers 1 minute of exported video.
Does previewing a video use credits?
No. Playing a preview in the editor doesn't use credits. Credits are used only when you export.
Where can I see my remaining credits?
Your remaining credits appear at the bottom-left of the dashboard, under your workspace name. For details, click your profile icon, select Billing, and then click Usage in the left menu.
Are generative credits the same as video credits?
No. AI image and video generators use generative credits, which are separate from video credits.
Making videos
Can I add subtitles?
Yes. Use Captions in the editor to create and style captions.
Can more than one avatar appear in a scene?
Yes. You can add more than one avatar to a scene.
Can I make a video from a PowerPoint file?
Yes. Use PPT to Video to create videos or editable projects from PPTX files.
What format are exported videos?
Videos are exported as MP4 files. You can also export audio only. Some plans can export in 4K.
Can I share my videos anywhere?
Yes. You can post videos you make in AI Studios on social media and other channels, as long as they don't violate other people's rights. See Copyright under Related articles.
Account access
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? and follow the steps in the email you receive. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam or junk folder.
Who do I contact for help?
Click the chat button in the bottom-right corner of any AI Studios page. Enterprise customers can also contact their account manager.
