Turning your PowerPoint slides into videos with AI Studios is a great way to make presentations more engaging. Whether you want a quick automated process or more control, AI Studios offers two simple options.

AI-Assisted vs. Manual Video Creation:

  • Import PowerPoint: Uploads your slides as-is. You manually add your own script and voiceover for full creative control.

  • Docs to Video: AI automatically generates a script, voiceover, and avatar from your PowerPoint, creating a video with minimal effort.

Option 1: Import a PowerPoint As-Is

If you want to have complete control over the content and narration, Manual Import allows you to upload your PowerPoint slides as-is and add your own script and voiceover. This option lets you customize each slide and create a personalized video, ensuring your message is delivered exactly how you want it.

Step 1: Open AI Studios and Start a New Project

Log in to AI Studios and start a new project by clicking the New Project button.

Alternatively, you can use the For You tab in the dashboard and select the Import PPT/PDF feature.

Step 2: Import Your PowerPoint File

Upload your .PPT or .PPTX file that you want to convert into a video. Your slides will be imported as individual video scenes. Any notes you may have on a slide may be converted into a script which can be replaced and rewritten.

Step 3: Add Your Own Text or Record Narration

Once your PowerPoint slides are imported, you can now customize the AI Avatar, type in a script for each slide, and add narration or voiceover to bring your video to life!

Option 2: Auto Video Creation (Docs-to-Video)

With AI Studios, you can effortlessly turn your PowerPoint slides into a fully narrated video in just a few clicks. The Docs to Video feature automatically generates a script, narration, and an AI avatar to present your content, allowing you to save time and easily create engaging, professional videos with minimal effort.

Tips for Creating Better Presentation Videos

1. Simplify Your Slides
Keep your slides clean and to the point. Avoid cluttering them with too much text or too many visuals. A clear, simple slide will help the audience focus on your message rather than getting distracted by unnecessary details.

2. Use High-Quality Images
The visuals you choose play a huge role in keeping your audience engaged. Always use high-resolution images or videos, as blurry or pixelated visuals can make your video look unprofessional. If you use stock images or AI-generated content, ensure they’re clear and high-quality.

3. Review AI-Generated Scripts
While AI can provide great scripts, always take a moment to review them. Make sure the tone, style, and language are in line with your brand or the message you're trying to convey. A quick review can save you from awkward phrasing or misinterpretation.

4. Be Strategic About Audio
Good audio can make or break your video. Make sure your background music or voiceover complements the visuals and doesn’t overpower them. Keep the volume at a comfortable level, and ensure the narration is clear and easy to understand.

What to Avoid

1. Overloading Slides
Less is more. Too much text or too many elements on a slide can overwhelm your audience. Stick to one or two key points per slide to keep your message clear and concise.

2. Skipping the Review
AI is a powerful tool, but it’s not perfect. Always take the time to review the video after the AI generates it. Check for accuracy in the script, correct any timing issues with visuals, and make sure the pacing feels right. A second glance can ensure that your video meets the highest standards.
