⚠️ Note: The 'Article to Video' feature name has been sunset. Its capabilities now live within the Script to Video tool. You can choose to let AI summarize your content using AI Touch-Up, or have AI Studios read your article exactly as written using Keep It Original mode.

What is Script to Video?

Script to Video is an AI-powered feature in AI Studios that transforms blogs, articles, and written content into polished video drafts within minutes. Just copy and paste your text, and AI Studios will automatically generate a video with relevant visuals, an AI-generated voiceover, and a script-ready avatar presentation.

This tool is perfect for bloggers, journalists, marketers, educators, or anyone who wants to repurpose written content into professional video format—no video editing experience needed.

How to Use Script to Video

Step 1: Open Script to Video

There are two ways to access the tool:

Option 1: Access Script to Video directly

Go to the Marketing tab on the AI Studios dashboard. Scroll through the tools until you find Script to Video, then click to open.

Option 2: Access Script to Video through the main dashboard input bar:

  1. Drag or upload your file into the text bar in the AI Studios dashboard.

  2. Make sure the selected tool is Script to Video.

  3. Choose the general purpose of your content (TikTok/Shorts/Reels, Business, or Education).

  4. Click the arrow button to move to the next step.

Step 2: Enter and Customize Your Video Script

Paste your video script, blog post, article, or notes into the input box. You can enter up to 20,000 characters. AI Studios will use this content to structure the script and scenes for your video.

Step 3: Choose the Video Language & Duration

Select your preferred video language from the dropdown menu. AI Studios supports over 150 languages and regional accents. The AI will automatically generate the voiceover and narration in the selected language.

Then, select how long you want the video to be by selecting the duration time in the Duration drop down. Note that Script to Video does not allow manual control of video duration for "Keep it Original", as it is automatically adjusted based on the script length.

Step 4: Choose Script Usage Option

Decide how AI Studios should use your script:

  • Keep it Original: The script will be used exactly as you entered it, with no changes

  • AI Touch-Up: AI Studios will refine your content to create a smoother, more polished script

Step 5: Customize the Script (Only for AI Touch-Up)

If you selected AI Touch-Up, you can guide the AI with a few additional prompts:

  • Objective: What is the purpose of the video? (for example, to educate, promote, explain)

  • Audience: Who is the video for? (such as students, customers, beginners)

  • Tone: Choose a tone or mood, such as professional, friendly, or casual

  • Speed: Adjust the speaking pace (for example, 1.0 for normal speed)

Step 6: Choose Image and Video Style

Decide how visuals will be added to your video. Use the Media Source dropdown to choose from:

  • Search: AI searches the web for relevant media

  • Free Stock: Browse Pixabay's free stock image and video library

  • Premium Stock: Access licensed media from Shutterstock

  • Generative: AI creates new visuals based on your script. You can choose a style like realistic, watercolor, or pixel art

  • Generative+: Produces high-resolution visuals using advanced generative AI (requires generative credits). To enable, turn on High-Quality AI Media

Step 7: Select a Template and Avatar

Choose the video template and the AI avatar you want to use. Use the Template drop-down to filter by format:

  • YouTube and TikTok

  • Business

  • Education

Then, select the avatar who will present your video. You can use a stock avatar or one of your own.

Both the template and avatar can be changed later if needed.

Step 8: Preview and Edit

Click Next to begin. The script, visuals, and voiceover will be created automatically. If you want to switch out the document being used to generate this video, click on Previous.

After clicking Next, AI Studios will generate a preview of your video draft. You’ll see the selected images, script, and narration. At this stage, the avatar will not yet appear animated.

You can do the following to edit the generated video in the preview scene:

  • Edit the script by clicking on the text

  • Change visuals by clicking on a scene

If you would like to make make detailed changes to the video, click on the Editor button and it will guide you to AI Studios full AI Video editor.

And if you are unhappy with the overall video and would like to redo the entire draft, click on Change Options.

Step 9: Export the Final Video

Once you're happy with the draft, click Export. The final version will include the AI avatar voiceover and animations. You can return to the editor to make changes even after exporting.
