What is Topic to Video?
Topic to Video is an AI Prompt tool that turns your ideas into complete video drafts in just minutes. Simply type in your topic, and AI Studios will generate a custom script, create relevant video scenes, and include narration led by an AI avatar. This tool simplifies video creation, making it perfect for bringing your concepts to life effortlessly.
How to Use Topic to Video
1. Navigate to Topic to Video
There are two ways to access the Topic to Video tool in the AI Studios dashboard:
Option 1: Access Topic to Video directly:
Open the “Marketing” tab in the AI Studios dashboard. Scroll to the right until you see the Topic to Video feature, then click to open it.
Option 2: Access Topic to Video through the main dashboard input bar:
Type your video idea or topic into the text bar.
Make sure the selected tool is Topic to Video.
Choose the general purpose of your content (Tiktok/Shorts/Reels, Business, or Education).
Click the arrow button to move to the next step.
2. Enter and Customize Your Video Prompt
Provide a detailed but brief video concept as a prompt (max 100 characters). Include examples or specifics that you want reflected in your video.

3. Choose Video Language & Video Duration
Pick your preferred language for the video. AI Studios supports over 150+ languages & accents to help you reach a global audience.
You can also set the video length by selecting an option from the drop-down menu next to ‘Duration.’
4. Customize Your Script
Guide the AI with extra prompts to enhance the video’s script. Specify:
Objective: The main purpose of your video (e.g. to explain a concept).
Audience: The target viewers (e.g. beginners).
Tone: The desired style or mood (e.g. friendly).
Speed: Adjust the narration pace (e.g. 1.0 for a normal pace).
5. Select Image and Video Style
Decide how AI Studios will source visuals by clicking on the drop down menu next to "Media Source." These are the options:
Search: AI Studios searches the web for relevant media.
Free Stock: Browse Pixabay's free library of stock images and videos.
Premium Stock: Access high-quality, licensed media from Shutterstock.
Generative: AI Studios generates unique images tailored to your prompt. You can also choose the visual style, such as 'realistic', 'watercolor', or 'pixel art'.
Generative+: Uses generative credits to produce advanced, high-resolution visuals and video elements with a more premium image and video generator than the normal Generative option.
This will be activated if you toggle "Enable High-Quality AI Media" as seen in the sample below.
6. Select a Template & Avatar
Browse templates by using the drop-down menu labeled “YouTube and TikTok,” which lets you filter by categories like social media, business, or education. Pick a template that suits your project goals. You can fine-tune its details after the video is created.
Next, choose the avatar for your video. Select a custom avatar you’ve uploaded or one of AI Studios’ stock avatars. You can always update this avatar later if needed.
7. Preview and Edit
Click 'Next' to generate a draft preview. Review the images, video, and narration. Note that you won’t see the avatar animated just yet.
You can edit the script by clicking directly on the text box, and change images by selecting the scene in the preview. For more detailed adjustments, you can also use the video editor.
If you’re not happy with the result, click ‘Change Options’ to fine-tune the prompt, adjust the template, or select a new avatar to create a new video draft from scratch.
8. Export and Finalize
When you’re satisfied with the video, click 'Export' to produce the final version with AI voice narration and an AI avatar presenter. You can continue to edit even after export by returning to the video editor at any time.

Why Topic to Video Might Not Work
If you encounter errors or the video quality isn't as expected, these could be possible reasons. Feel free to reach out to support for more detailed answers.
Inappropriate Prompt – The prompt may violate terms and conditions.
Not Enough Details – Vague prompts produce generic results. Detailed prompts improve accuracy and quality.
Niche or Current Topics – Extremely niche or recent topics may lack sufficient data. For current events, include key facts or use Article to Video to paste relevant content.
Unsupported Language – Some languages may have limited video generation capabilities.
Complex Concepts – Highly technical or abstract ideas may need simplification for effective video generation.
Lengthy Prompts – Overly long prompts might overwhelm the system. Keep prompts concise and focused.
File Upload Errors – If attaching supporting documents, ensure they are in supported formats and not corrupted.
AI Downtime – If the AI provider is down, video generation may not start. Check OpenAI status here: https://status.openai.com.
Visual Content Limitations – Prompts that rely heavily on abstract visuals may generate less relevant footage.
