In this help doc

The Studio editor is where you build each video, scene by scene. This doc walks through its five areas: the top bar, the left toolbar, the canvas, the script panel, and the scene list and timeline.

Top bar

The top bar runs across the editor:

  • The arrow on the far left (Go Dashboard) returns to your dashboard.

  • The undo and redo arrows reverse or reapply your last edits. Landscape 16 : 9 shows the video's aspect ratio.

  • The name box (Project Name) shows the project name. Click it to rename the project.

  • On the right are Translation, Publish Template, and Export, which opens the export settings for the final video.

Hovering over the dashboard arrow, undo, the project name, and Export

Left toolbar

To add something to a scene, click its icon in the left toolbar. A panel opens next to it:

  • Templates, Avatar, Text, Captions, Media, Asset, Shapes, Brand, and Interaction each open their own panel.

  • Tutorial sits at the bottom of the toolbar.

Canvas

The canvas in the middle shows the selected scene as it will appear in the video. To edit an element:

  1. Pick a scene in the scene list at the bottom.

  2. Click the element on the canvas. A small toolbar appears above it, and the top bar changes to show that element's settings.

Script panel

The script panel on the right holds what the avatar says in the selected scene:

  • The icon tabs at the top switch between Narration, Conversation (two avatars), and Audio Script. The names appear next to the icons when the panel is wide.

  • The voice button and the locale button set the voice and accent.

  • The counter under the script shows how many bytes you've used, out of 20,000.

  • The buttons under the script include AI Script Assistant, Scene Speed, Effect, Add Pause, Dictionary, Personalization Tag, and Emotion Tag. Hover over a button to see its name.

Scene list and timeline

The bottom of the editor shows your scenes in order:

  • Scene view shows each scene as a thumbnail. Click + after the last scene to add one.

  • Timeline shows tracks for Scene, Voice, Captions, BGM, and Layers, with each scene sized by its length.

  • Click Play to preview the video, or the Full-screen preview button to watch it full screen.

💡 Tip: In Timeline, the preview shows voice, captions, background music, and element timing. Lip sync is applied after the video is created.
