How do I create & send personalized videos at scale?

The Video Messages app makes a personalized video for each recipient and sends it to their email. This doc shows how to choose a template, add recipients, and check the preview before you export.

Choose a template

To start a video message:

  1. Go to Apps and click Video Messages.

  2. If the How to Use guide opens, read it or click Skip.

  3. Click a template, and then click Next.

💡 Tip: To see the templates in the other orientation, click Change Orientation.

Add recipients

To add recipients:

  1. Click Add More to add a row.

  2. Enter the recipient's Name and Email.

  3. To add many recipients at once, click Download Sample, fill in the file, and click Upload File. Each row becomes a recipient.

  4. Click Next.

Preview and export

To check your video message:

  1. Review the Message and the Scenes. The message can be up to 100 characters.

  2. To send each video as soon as it is created, select Send Messages Automatically after Video Creation.

  3. Click Export to create the videos.

Note: Videos are delivered within 5–15 minutes after they are sent.

FAQ

Can I use my own project instead of a template?
Yes. Add a personalization tag to your script in the video editor. When you export, one video is made for each name.

Can I create the videos without sending them right away?
Yes. Leave Send Messages Automatically after Video Creation cleared.

What file format should I use for many recipients?
Click Download Sample and fill in the sample file. Put the name and the email of each recipient in its own row.
