Bulk Synthesis helps you generate large batches of personalized or templated videos by using a spreadsheet to control content. It’s ideal for creating videos at scale for marketing, sales, internal comms, and more.

How to Use Bulk Synthesis in AI Studios

Step 1: Find Bulk Synthesis

Go to the Marketing tab in your AI Studios dashboard. From there, look for Bulk Synthesis in the list of available features.

Step 2: Select a video template

Choose from AI Studios' stock templates or use one of your own saved templates. Learn how to save custom templates.

Step 3: Preview editable areas

Before finalizing your selection, preview the template to see which parts can be customized. You can edit:

  • Avatars and voices

  • Script text

  • On-screen text fields

  • Image placeholders

This preview helps confirm that the template fits your project goals.

Step 4: Click “Create Bulk Videos”

Once you’ve chosen your template, click Create Bulk Videos to start setting up your batch.

Step 5: Download the sample spreadsheet

Click to download the Sample Template Spreadsheet. This file includes all editable fields for your selected video layout.

Important: Do not delete or modify any of the column headers. The structure is auto-generated to match the template. Removing or renaming columns may cause errors during video generation.

Step 6: Edit the spreadsheet

Open the spreadsheet in Google Sheets and begin filling out the fields row by row.

  • Each column represents a specific editable element in your video template.

  • Each row you add will generate a separate video.

Keep the sample row as-is: The sample row is highlighted in gray. It serves as a reference to help you understand how each field connects to the video template. It will not be used to generate a video. Only add new rows below it when entering your actual content.

What the Column Numbers Mean

You’ll notice that the column headers include numbers, such as #1_Model or #2_Script.
These numbers indicate which slide or scene in your video the data corresponds to:

  • #1_ = Slide 1

  • #2_ = Slide 2

  • #3_ = Slide 3

This numbering helps match your spreadsheet content to the correct part of the video.

What the Column Colors Mean

To make editing easier, each column header is color-coded based on the type of content it controls:

🔴 Red Fields — Avatar and Voice Selection

  • Choose which avatar and voice are used in each slide

  • Works with both default AI Studios avatars and voices

  • Also supports your own custom avatars and voice clones

🟢 Green Fields — On-Screen Text (Not Script)

  • Controls the text that appears visually in the video

  • Examples: titles, descriptions, call-to-action text

  • This content will not be spoken by the avatar

🔵 Blue Fields — Image Inputs

  • Replaces image placeholders in the template

  • Upload your images to Google Drive, set them to public, and paste the share link in the field. Images cannot be uploaded using any other method at the moment.

  • Supported formats: .png, .jpg, .gif

⚫ Gray Fields — Script Content

  • These are the lines your avatar will say aloud

  • You can customize them row by row to generate unique voiceovers

Step 7: Upload your spreadsheet

Once you’ve added all your video data, download the sheet as a .xlsx file. Then, upload the completed spreadsheet back into the Bulk Synthesis tool.

The platform will begin generating a separate video for each row in your sheet.

If your uploaded spreadsheet cannot be processed, you can download it to review the errors. Any fields filled out incorrectly will be highlighted in red so you can identify and fix them.
