The Brand Kit is a feature available exclusively to Team and Enterprise plans within AI Studios. It allows teams to upload and share fonts, logos, and other media assets across the entire workspace. This makes it easier for all team members to access the necessary brand elements and ensure consistent branding in every video.

The Brand Kit is built to make collaboration easier by allowing teams to share branding assets. But even if you're using an individual account on a Team plan, you can still use the Brand Kit to keep your assets organized and easily accessible for a smoother workflow."

Uploaded Assets vs. Brand Assets

  • Brand Assets (fonts, logos, media): These are shared across the entire workspace and accessible by all team members.

  • Uploaded Assets: These are personal to individual accounts and are not shared across the workspace.

Note: The Brand Kit is available only to Team & Enterprise plans. If you're on a Free or Personal plan, you may want to consider upgrading to access this feature.

How to Access the Brand Kit

Step 1: Open a Video Project

  • Start a new project or open an existing video project in AI Studios.

  • From the project editor, locate the 'Asset' tab on the left side menu.

Step 2: Navigate to Brand Assets

  • Scroll to the bottom of the Asset tab.

  • Find 'Brand Assets' under the section for uploaded media and files.

Uploading Fonts, Logos, and Media to the Brand Kit

Step 1: Upload Custom Fonts

  • Click on "Add Font" or "Add +" button under the 'Fonts' section to upload custom fonts.

  • Note: Font uploads are available exclusively on Team plans, and once uploaded, these fonts are accessible to everyone in your workspace.

Step 2: Upload Logos

  • In the 'Logos' section, upload your logos and any key branding assets (e.g., icons, mascots).

Step 3: Upload Images, Videos, & Music

  • Click on the 'Upload image/video/audio files' button to upload any media files (e.g., video backgrounds, images, audio).

  • The uploaded files will be automatically sorted into the correct sections of the Brand Kit, making it easy to find and use them later.

Note: Any transparent images will appear to have a black background in the thumbnail when uploaded in AI Studios. Don't worry, the images remain transparent when added into your video project.

Best Practices for Using the Brand Kit

Focus on Reusable Assets

Avoid uploading one-time-use assets that are only relevant to a specific project. Instead, prioritize logos, fonts, and backgrounds that can be used across multiple video projects. This saves time and helps maintain brand consistency.

Align Assets with Brand Identity

Upload assets that reflect your brand’s visual style, including logos, fonts, and media. Keeping these assets on-brand ensures that all your videos look cohesive, even as different team members work on different projects.

Upload Versatile Video Backgrounds

When uploading video backgrounds, choose options that can be used in various types of content. Backgrounds should complement your brand’s aesthetic and work well with different video themes, making them adaptable for various projects.

Keep the Kit Organized

Regularly review and clean up your assets to avoid clutter. This will help everyone find the right asset when they need it. If you share the workspace, an organized kit ensures smooth collaboration.

Limit Redundancy

Don’t upload the same asset multiple times.

Use clear naming conventions (e.g., "Logo - Full Color," "Logo - Black & White") to help your team easily locate and use the right version of an asset.

Brand Kit FAQ

1. Why aren’t my uploaded assets showing up for team members?

  • Make sure your assets are uploaded under Brand Assets, not Uploaded Assets. Uploaded Assets are personal and not shared.

2. How many logos or elements can I upload?

  • There’s no limit to how many assets you can upload, but it’s a good idea to clean up assets periodically to avoid clutter.

3. Who has access to the Brand Kit assets?

  • Brand assets are accessible to all workspace members, while uploaded assets remain personal.

4. Can I upload fonts for my entire team?

  • Yes! Fonts uploaded to Brand Assets are available to all workspace members, but font uploads are only available on Team plans.

5. Can I organize brand assets into folders?

  • Currently, folders aren’t supported. To stay organized, use clear naming conventions and clean up your assets periodically.

6. What happens if I delete an asset from the Brand Kit?

  • Deleting an asset from the Brand Kit removes it from the workspace, but it will remain in any existing projects. It will not be available for new projects.
