A personalization tag puts a different name into the script of each video. This doc shows how to add a tag to your script and enter the names to use.

Add a personalization tag

To add a tag:

  1. In the video editor, click the script where you want the name to go.

  2. Click the Personalization Tag button under the script. It is the second button from the right.

  3. A blue tag, @name, appears in the script.

Enter the names

To enter the names:

  1. Click the @name tag. The Personalized Video Message Tag box opens.

  2. Type the names, separated by commas.

  3. Click Save. To check or change the names, click the tag again.

Note: When you export, AI Studios creates a folder named after your project and makes one video for each name.

💡 Tip: To send personalized videos by email, use the Video Messages app.

FAQ

Can I leave the names empty?
Yes. You can add the tag now and enter the names later.

Is the Personalization Tag available on every plan?
No. It is available on paid plans. On the free plan, clicking the button opens the upgrade window.

Can I use personalization tags in a course project?
No. The button is not available for projects that are part of a course.
