The video editor saves your project automatically as you work, so there is no Save button. This doc explains how saving works, what happens if your connection drops, and where to find your project later.
Your work saves automatically
Every change you make in the video editor, such as renaming the project or editing the script, is saved a moment later.
To rename your project, click the project name at the top right, type a new name, and press Enter.
Edit your scenes and script as usual. You don't need to save.
When you're done, click
Go Dashboard(←) at the top left.
Note: If a change can't be saved, for example because your internet connection dropped, a warning appears: Changes could not be saved. Your changes are saved automatically when you're back online, and All changes saved appears.
💡 Tip: Keep a stable internet connection while you edit. If you try to close or refresh the tab before your last change is saved, your browser asks you to confirm.
Find your project later
Your project is listed under Projects in the left menu of the dashboard and under Recent Project on the home page. Click it to open it in the editor again.
Videos made with AI tools
If you create a video with an AI tool that shows a preview first, such as Topic to Video or URL to Video, the video is saved as a project only after you open it in the editor or generate the video from the preview. If you leave the preview without doing either, you need to create the video again with the same prompt.
💡 Tip: To avoid losing work, open the video in the editor before you close the page.

Is there a Save button?
No. The editor saves every change automatically.
What happens if I lose my internet connection while editing?
The editor shows a warning and saves your changes when you're back online. Don't close the tab until All changes saved appears.
