Duplicating a project makes a copy you can change without touching the original. This doc shows how to duplicate a project from the Projects page and what to know about the copy.

Click <code>Projects</code> in the left menu. To find a project quickly, type its name in <code>Search by project name</code>.

Click the <code>⋯</code> icon at the bottom-right of the project card.

Select <code>Duplicate</code>. The copy appears in your project list, with <code>[copied]</code> added to the front of its name.

Note: The copy isn't exported automatically. Open it, make your changes, and export it to create the final video.

💡 Tip: You can also duplicate a project from <code>Recent Project</code> on the dashboard. Its card has the same <code>⋯</code> menu.

Does duplicating a project use credits? No. Credits are used only when you export a video.

Can I rename the copy? Yes. Open the card's <code>⋯</code> menu and select <code>Edit Name</code>.
