A scene can have up to two avatars that talk to each other in turns, which works well for training modules, role-play simulations, and other interactive content. This doc shows how to add a second avatar and how to swap either avatar for a different one.
Add a second avatar
To add a second avatar to a scene, open the video editor and click the Conversation tab (the two-person icon) at the top of the script panel on the right.
A second avatar joins the scene. The script now shows one turn for each avatar, with + Add Pause between them.
Note: The second avatar is chosen for you. To use a different one, swap it as shown below.
Type each avatar's line in its turn. You can change each avatar's voice and language, just as you do with one avatar.
Note: The avatars don't speak over each other. They take turns in script order, from top to bottom.
💡 Tip: To start with a ready-made two-avatar conversation, click Dual Avatar in the banner at the top of the dashboard. For step-by-step instructions, see Create a Dual-Avatar Conversation Scene.

The new avatar replaces the selected one in every turn it speaks.
