How do I delete a Photo or Video Avatar?

Deleting a Video Avatar you no longer need frees up its slot, so you can create a new one when your slots are full. This doc shows where to find the Delete option for your Video Avatars and Photo Avatars.

Delete from My Avatars

To delete an avatar from the list:

  1. Go to Avatars and open the My Avatars tab.

  2. Hover over the avatar and click ⋯ in its top-right corner.

  3. Choose Delete. In Delete avatar, click OK to delete it, or Cancel to keep it.

When you click OK, the avatar is removed from My Avatars. If it was your only avatar, the tab shows No Avatars yet!

Delete from the avatar page

To delete it from its own page:

  1. Click the avatar in My Avatars to open its page.

  2. Click ⋯ at the top of the page and choose Delete.

The ⋯ menu at the top of the page also has Edit.

💡 Tip: Keep a copy of the video you used to create your Video Avatar. You can use it again later if you need to recreate the avatar.

FAQ

Why should I delete an avatar?
If your avatar slots are full, you can't create a new Video Avatar until you delete one of your existing avatars. Deleting an avatar frees up one slot.

How can I recreate an avatar I deleted?
Keep the original video or photo. You can use it to create the avatar again.
