In this help doc
You can remove the background behind an AI-Generated Avatar, Video Avatar, or Photo Avatar, so the avatar sits directly on your scene's background or media. This doc shows how to turn the background off and on, and how to fine-tune the edges for your own avatars.

FAQ
Can I edit the removed background?
No. You can't edit the background once it has been removed from the avatar. To show something else behind the avatar, add an image to your scene and click Set as BG.
Why does my avatar look cropped or uneven after removing the background?
This can happen when the colors of the avatar are too similar to the background. For a Video Avatar or Photo Avatar, try adjusting Edge Sensitivity and Smooth. When you record a new video, use a background that contrasts with your clothes and hair.
Should I record in front of a green screen?
No. A green screen can leave a faint green border around the avatar. A simple, neutral-colored background works best.
