The tips list document types that work well:

  • Product Catalog: great for showcasing promotions or user manuals.

  • Educational Materials: ideal for lesson plans or problem-solving guides.

  • Photo Collection: works well for images like people, animals, or landscapes.

  • Research Papers: summarize reports and text-based documents.

  • E-book: perfect for magazines, comics, or children's books.

  • Script: turn plays, movie scripts, or musicals into engaging videos.

💡 Tip: Focus on content that's structured and clear for the best video results.

Set the options

To set the options:

  1. Under Options, choose the Language. To guide the script, click Objective, Audience, Tone, or Speed.

  2. Under Video Preset, turn File Background on to use each page of your document as the background of its scene. Turn it off to use a template background instead.

FAQ

Which file types can I upload?
DOCX, PDF, PPT, and TXT files, up to 1GB.

What does File Background do?
When it's on, each page of your document becomes the background of its scene. When it's off, a template background is used, and you can choose a media source.

Why didn't Docs to Video work?
Check that the file is not damaged, that it uploaded completely, and that it is a supported file type. Documents with very little text may not give enough material. Large files take longer to process.

Should I use Docs to Video or Import PPT/PDF?
Docs to Video writes a new script from your document. To keep your slides and use your speaker notes as the script, use Import PPT/PDF instead.
