AI Studios lets you control your video’s pacing by adjusting the speed of both the avatar’s voice and the scene itself. This includes how quickly your avatar speaks, how animations play out, and how long each slide lasts. Whether you want a slow, thoughtful delivery or a fast, dynamic tone, this feature gives you full control.
How to Adjust Scene and Talking Speed in AI Studios
Step 1: Find the speed control
At the bottom of the script box in the editor, you'll see a button labeled 1.0x. This is the default speed setting for your avatar’s speech and scene timing.
Step 2: Open the speed menu
Click the 1.0x button to open the speed control. Use the slider to adjust the speed by dragging the dot to your desired setting. You can fine-tune the pace using decimal values like 1.1, 1.2, or 1.3.
Choose a speed that matches the tone and flow of your video. For example:
0.5x slows things down significantly
1.0x is the default pace
Anything above 1.0x gradually increases the speed, up to a maximum of 5.0x
Your selected speed affects both the avatar’s speaking pace and the overall timing of the scene.
Step 3: Apply the speed
Once you've selected a speed, you can click out of the pop-up menu, the script will automatically update to match your choice. Your avatar's voice will adjust accordingly, and the scene duration and animations will speed up or slow down to stay in sync.
If you want the same speed applied across your entire video, toggle on the "Apply all slides" option. If you leave it off, the speed change will only apply to the slide you're currently editing.
Step 5: Preview the result
You can preview your scene in the editor with the updated speed settings. This makes it easy to test pacing before exporting your video. If the timing feels off, you can return to the speed menu and try a different setting.
