How do I adjust scene and talking speed in AI Studios?

You can make your avatar speak faster or slower, and the scene timing follows. This doc shows how to open Scene Speed, set the speed for one scene or all scenes, and preview the result.

Try this feature

Open Scene Speed

To open the speed control:

  1. Open your project in the editor.

  2. At the bottom of the script box, click Scene Speed. The box shows the current speed. The default is 1.0x.

Set the speed

To set the speed:

  1. Drag the slider. The speed changes in 0.1 steps, from 0.5x to 2.0x.

  2. To use the same speed in every scene, turn on Apply All Slides. If it stays off, only the current scene changes.

  3. Click outside the box to close it. The button now shows the new speed, such as 1.4x.

Note: The speed changes both how fast the avatar speaks and how long the scene lasts. A faster speed makes the scene shorter.

Preview the result

To check the pacing:

  1. Click play below the canvas to preview the scene.

  2. If the timing feels off, open Scene Speed again and try another value.

What speeds can I use?
From 0.5x to 2.0x. 1.0x is the default.

Can I set a different speed for each scene?
Yes. Leave Apply All Slides off and set the speed in each scene.
