Take your videos to the next level with AI STUDIOS Interactive Video — a powerful way to engage viewers by letting them choose their path. Whether you’re building training modules, product walkthroughs, or interactive stories, we make it easy to create dynamic video experiences.

What is an Interactive Video?

An interactive video lets viewers click buttons within the video to:

  • Navigate between scenes

  • Trigger actions

  • Make choices that lead to different outcomes

No coding required. Just drag, drop, and assign your branches.

Step-by-Step Guide: Creating Interactive Videos

1. Start a New Project

Begin by creating a video project as usual. Upload your script, choose an avatar, and build your scenes.

You can also start from a PowerPoint or PDF for faster setup!

2. Make Elements Clickable

Select Your Element: You can add interactive elements to text, shapes, logos, and images drawn on the canvas.

  • Select the “Interactivity” at the top menu

  • Set options in the left panel for what happens when someone clicks an element

    • Set the “Target scene” the button should jump to when clicked

    • Enter the website address you want to open in the “Set as Url” input box

    • (Optional) Turn on “Wait for click” if you want the video to stop playing until the viewer clicks on an interactive element

3. Create Branching Logic

Now connect your buttons to different scenes.

For example:

  • Scene 1 has two buttons → Button A leads to Scene 2, Button B leads to Scene 3

  • Scene 2 and 3 can merge back to Scene 4 (or continue branching)

Check here for cases where branching logic breaks!

4. Set an End Scene

Defines the final scene of the path.

  • Select the More icon at the top right of the scene and select "Set Ending Scene"

  • When exporting to SCORM Package, progress is determined by whether the ending scene you set has been reached

  • If the final scene is not specified, it is automatically set to the scene with the highest sequence number

5. Preview and Test

Use the “Preview” to:

  • Click through all your branches

  • Confirm transitions work correctly

  • Catch any dead ends or scene loops

6. Export or Share

Once you’re happy:

  • Publish it and share via link

  • Or export as SCORM for LMS platforms
