When the preview looks right, you can export the final video or keep editing it in the Studio editor. This doc shows how to export, open a copy in the editor, and come back to your video later.
Export the video
To make the final video file:
On the
Previewtab, clickExport video.The
Export Settingwindow shows thePredicted video durationand theVideo credits needed. Review them.Click
Export videoin the window to start, orCancelto go back.
While it exports, the button shows Exporting… and the panel says “The export keeps going if you leave this screen.”
When it is done, the agent says “Your video is ready.” Click Download in the chat or on the Preview tab to save the file. You can also click View on dashboard in the chat.
Note: Exporting uses video credits. The export keeps going if you leave this screen. When it is done, the video appears on your dashboard.
After you export, the button changes:
Export again: export this version again after you change it. Until you change something, the button is off and the panel says “No changes since the last export.”
Export previous version: shown when you open an older version and a newer version has its own preview, for example “Export previous version (v1)”.
Edit in the Studio editor
To keep editing your video in the editor:
On the
Previewtab, clickEditor.Video Agent makes a copy of the video as a regular project and opens it in the editor.
Edit the copy as you like. Your Video Agent conversation and versions don't change.
After you export, Editor opens the latest export in the editor. The agent says “Changes made there do not come back to this chat.” and adds an Open the editor copy link.
After you make a copy, click ▾ next to Editor (More editor options) to choose:
Open the latest export in the editor: shown after you export.
Open editor edits: shown after you export, if you changed a copy in the editor.
New editor copy: shown before you export. Makes another copy with the latest changes from this chat.
Note: Videos that use generative video clips can't be opened in the editor.
Reopen a video later
To come back to a video:
Open Video Agent and click the conversation in
Conversation historyon the left.Or open the project from the dashboard. On a Video Agent project card, use
Versionsto pick a version.
💡 Tip: If you edited the video in the editor and exported it again later, Video Agent asks which one to open. Choose Open my edits or Open the latest export. Your edits are not deleted.
FAQ
Do I have to wait on the page while exporting?
No. The export keeps going if you leave this screen.
What happens if I don't have enough credits to export?
The export stops, and the agent says “You don't have enough credit. Please upgrade your plan to create videos.”
Does editing in the editor change my Video Agent video?
No. The editor works on a copy. Your Video Agent versions stay as they are.
