In this help doc

Before you create the preview, the outline is the cheapest place to shape your video. This doc shows how to change the video options, edit scenes in the outline, and see what the agent did.

Change the video options

The options above the outline set the whole video. To change one:

  1. Open the Outline tab on the right.

  2. Click an option: the avatar, the voice, the template, the ratio, the length, the language, Media, or With avatar.

  3. Pick a new value from the list or window that opens.

The option row above the outline

The options include:

  • Avatar: click Change avatar to choose from My Avatars or Public Avatars.

  • Voice: click ▶ to hear the voice, or Change to pick another one.

  • Template: click Choose a template to pick the look of the scenes.

  • Media: choose Generative image, Generative video clip, or Stock media, each with a Basic model or an Advanced model. Options marked 💎 need a paid plan.

  • With avatar: switch to Voice only to make the video without an avatar.

Apply or revert option changes

After the preview is made, option changes wait until you apply them. To apply them:

  1. Change one or more options. The panel shows how many unapplied changes are waiting.

  2. Click Apply changes to use them, or Revert changes to go back.

  3. If the agent asks “Remake this version with these options?”, click Rebuild to make the preview again, or Cancel to go back. If the new images use generative credits, the window shows them.

Note: Applying changes remakes this version with the new options, and scene images are generated again. Advanced images use generative credits. If you already exported this version, the exported video stays available from the link in the conversation and the version list.

Edit the outline

Each scene in the outline has a Scene title, a Script, and a Visual direction. To edit them:

  1. If the preview is already made, click Edit outline at the bottom of the outline.

  2. Click a scene's text and type your change.

  3. Use Add scene after or Remove scene to change the number of scenes.

  4. Click Recreate preview to make the preview again, or Cancel editing to keep the current one.

💡 Tip: You can also ask in the chat box, for example “Split scene 2 into two scenes” or “Move scene 3 to the start”. The agent shows a card to confirm the change.

💡 Tip: Get the outline right before you create the preview. Changes after the preview take longer and can use more credits.

See what the agent did

To check the agent's work:

  1. Click steps above a reply, for example 3 steps.

  2. Read how the agent understood your request, such as the ratio and length it picked.

FAQ

Does editing the outline use credits?
No. Planning the outline uses no credits. Credits are used when the preview is made with Advanced or generative media, and when you export.

Why can't I add or split scenes?
If you chose to use document pages as backgrounds, each scene uses one page. Scenes can't be added, split, or reordered in that mode.

Can I go back to the previous outline?
Yes. Choose an earlier version from the version menu at the top of the panel.
