Removing a team member does not automatically reduce the number of seats in your subscription. If you want to stop paying for that seat, you’ll need to contact Customer Support and request a seat reduction.
If you don’t request to reduce your seat count, the seat will stay on your plan and you will continue to be billed for it in your next billing cycle, even if it’s not being used.
How to Remove a Seat from Your Teams Plan
✅ Step 1: Remove the Team Member (Optional)
You can remove someone from your team at any time. This will revoke their access to your workspace, but the seat will remain available for reassignment unless you take the next step.
✅ Step 2: Contact Customer Support
To reduce your seat count and avoid being charged for unused seats in your next billing cycle, reach out to Customer Support with the following information:
Main account email associated with the Teams Plan
Number of seats you’d like to remove
Confirmation that any removed users have been deactivated or replaced
(Optional) Reason for the change (for support records)

🔁 What Happens Next
Customer Support will confirm your request and adjust your plan. Once the change is processed, your billing will reflect the updated seat count in the next cycle.
