If you’ve got a long video and want to get more value out of it, Video Highlights can help. This feature is perfect for turning longer content into shorter clips that are easy to share on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and more.

Whether you’re working with a webinar, vlog, tutorial, or livestream, Video Highlights saves time by automatically pulling out the most important moments. No need to scroll through footage or make manual edits. The tool does the hard part for you.

Video Highlights is a feature inside AI Studios that uses artificial intelligence to scan your long video and identify the most relevant or interesting moments. It then creates shorter clips from those moments that you can preview, edit, caption, translate, and export.

This tool is especially useful for content creators, marketers, teachers, or anyone looking to repurpose a full video into multiple, high-impact clips ready for social media or other platforms.

Go to your AI Studios dashboard and click on the Social Media tab. There, you’ll find the Video Highlights feature in the menu.

You can upload your video in two ways:

Option 1: Drag and drop your video file (MP4, MOV, or WEBM format, up to 1 GB)

Option 2: Paste a YouTube link. The tool will pull in the video and begin processing it

If you're aiming for a specific type of content, you can guide the AI by entering keywords or choosing one of the preset options like:

This helps the AI pick clips that best match your goal.

Select how long you want your clips to be. You can choose a range, such as 15 to 30 seconds, and the tool will keep each highlight within that window.

Choose whether to include captions. You can set the caption language to fit your audience. For example, you can create an English-subtitled version of a video originally in Korean.

Pick the aspect ratio that fits where you plan to share your content. Select vertical for mobile viewing or horizontal for desktop and widescreen formats.

Select the language your video is in. This helps AI Studios understand the spoken content more clearly and makes the clip creation process faster and more accurate.

Once your video has been processed, you’ll see a list of generated clips. Watch the previews and uncheck any clips you don’t want to include. All clips are selected by default, so make any changes before moving on.

If you don't like the clips that were generated. You can click the regenerate button located on the upper right corner of the preview screen.

When you're ready, click Export. Your selected clips will be processed and ready to download. You can now post them to social media or continue editing them as needed.
