The Video Generator can turn a still image into a short video. You add the image as the first frame and describe the motion in a prompt. This doc shows how to open the Video Generator, add your image, and write the prompt.

Open the Video Generator

To open the tool:

  1. In the left menu of the dashboard, click Apps.

  2. Under AI Generators, click Video Generator. The AI Videos tab opens.

💡 Tip: You can also click Video Generator in the left menu of the dashboard.

Add your image and prompt

To animate an image:

  1. Click Start Image and select a JPG, PNG, or WEBP image.

  2. In Prompt, describe the motion you want, such as a person waving or clouds drifting across the sky.

  3. Set the duration, aspect ratio, and audio if needed, then click Generate. The button shows the generative credits needed.

Uploading a start image, typing a motion prompt, and pointing at Generate

Note: With some models, you can also add an End Image to set the last frame. The options depend on the model you choose at the top of the panel.

💡 Tip: Use a clear, high-quality image with one main subject. Busy or crowded images can give less predictable motion.
