What is URL to Video?
URL to Video is an AI-powered tool in AI Studios that transforms any webpage into a video draft within minutes. Just paste a URL, and AI Studios will generate a script based on the page’s content, build scenes with relevant visuals, and add narration using an AI avatar.
This tool is especially useful for eCommerce pages, blogs, news articles, and company websites. It works best with text-heavy content since the AI relies on written material to create the script and structure.
How to Use URL to Video
Step 1: Open URL to Video
There are two ways to access the tool:
Option 1: From the Marketing tab
Open the Marketing tab on the AI Studios dashboard
Scroll to the right and click on URL to Video
Option 2: From the main dashboard input bar
Copy-Paste into the text bar
Make sure the tool selected is URL to Video
Click the arrow button to move to the next step
Step 2: Upload and Analyze the URL
Copy and paste the URL you want to convert into a video into the text bar. URL to Video works best with text-heavy pages like product listings from Amazon, blog posts, or news articles.
Step 3: Choose Video Language and Duration
Select your preferred video language from the Language drop-down menu. AI Studios supports over 150 languages and accents.
Then, choose the desired video length using the Duration drop-down menu
Step 4: Customize the Script Prompt
You can adjust the video duration and guide the AI with extra prompts to improve the script.
Use the following options to shape your video:
Objective – Define the main purpose of the video (for example, to explain a concept)
Audience – Choose who the video is for (such as beginners or professionals)
Tone – Select the style or mood (friendly, formal, casual, etc.)
Speed – Set the narration pace (for example, 1.0 for normal speed)
Step 5: Select Image and Video Style
Use the Media Source drop-down to decide how visuals will be added:
Extract – AI uses the images found in the webpage in the video
Search – AI searches the web for matching visuals
Free Stock – Browse free media from Pixabay
Premium Stock – Use high-quality visuals from Shutterstock
Generative – Create unique images based on your prompt. Choose from styles like realistic, watercolor, or pixel art
Generative+ – For advanced, high-resolution visuals. Enable High-Quality AI Media to activate this option (uses generative credits)
Step 6: Choose a Template and Avatar
Choose the video template and the AI avatar you want to use. Use the Template drop-down to filter by format:
YouTube and TikTok
Business
Education
Then, select the avatar who will present your video. You can use a stock avatar or one of your own.
Both the template and avatar can be changed later if needed.
Step 7: Preview and Edit the Draft
After clicking Next, AI Studios will generate a preview of your video draft. You’ll see the selected images, script, and narration. At this stage, the avatar will not yet appear animated.
You can do the following to edit the generated video:
Edit the script by clicking on the text
Change visuals by clicking on a scene
If you would like to make make detailed changes to the video, click on the Editor button and it will guide you to AI Studios full AI Video editor.
And if you are unhappy with the overall video and would like to redo the entire draft, click on Change Options.
Step 8: Export and Finalize Your Video
Once you're happy with the draft, click Export. The final version will include the AI avatar voiceover and animations. You can return to the editor to make changes even after exporting.
