Whether it's a friendly greeting, a raised hand, or a directional gesture, this feature offers a wide range of expressive possibilities when creating AI videos using stock Studios Avatars.

Important: This feature does not work on AI Generated Avatar, Custom Avatar, or Photo Avatar. It is only available for certain stock avatars in AI Studios (you will see a gesture tag).

If you would like to create a custom avatar with customizable gestures, please contact our team to discuss creating an Exclusive Studio Avatar (enterprise plan only).

How to Add Gesture Markers In-Script in AI Studios

1. Choose a Studio Avatar with Gesture Support

Gestures are only available for select stock Studio Avatars.

Look for avatars marked with a blue "Gesture" label—only these avatars can perform hand and body gestures.

More gesture-capable Studio Avatars will be added in future updates.

2. Add a Gesture Marker to Your Script

Click into your script at the point where you want the gesture to occur. Then, click the waving hand icon labeled "Gesture" at the bottom-left corner of the text editor.

A small blue gesture marker will be inserted into the script.

3. Choose a Gesture

Click on the gesture marker you just added where a list of gesture options will appear. Select the one you want, and it will be applied at that point in the video.

Note: Leave at least 3-4 words between multiple gesture markers. If gesture markers are placed too closely, the following gestures may not initiate.
