What is an Audio Converter?
The Audio Converter in AI Studios lets you change the file format of an audio file. For example, you might convert a FLAC file to MP3, or a WAV file to AAC.
You may want to convert your audio file for compatibility with different devices, to reduce file size, or to meet platform-specific upload requirements.
How to Convert Audio Files in AI Studios
Step 1: Find the Audio Converter Tool
In the AI Studios dashboard, click on the Tools tab. Then, locate Audio Converter in the list of available features.
Step 2: Upload the File You Want to Convert
Click the upload button and select the audio file from your device.
Note: The Audio Converter only works with audio files. If you need to extract audio from a video, use the Video Converter tool instead.
Step 3: Choose the File Format
After uploading, select the file format you want to convert your audio into. Use the “Convert to...” dropdown menu.
The supported formats include MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, WMA, M4A.
Step 4: Select the Audio Bitrate (Optional)
Bitrate affects both the quality and the size of your audio file. In AI Studios, you can choose a bitrate from 64 kbps to 320 kbps.
Use a lower bitrate (64–128 kbps) for smaller file size, ideal for voice recordings or web use
Use a higher bitrate (192–320 kbps) for better sound quality, especially for music
You can also leave this setting on Auto.
Step 5: Select the Sample Rate (Optional)
The sample rate determines how often the audio is captured per second and affects clarity. AI Studios lets you choose a sample rate between 8000 Hz and 48000 Hz.
8000–16000 Hz is enough for voice-only recordings
44100 Hz is the standard for music
48000 Hz is often used in video production
You can also leave this setting on Auto.
Step 6: Click Convert
Once you’ve selected the format, bitrate, and sample rate, click the Convert button. AI Studios will begin processing your file.
Step 7: Download the Converted File
After the conversion is complete, click the Download button to save the file to your device. You can then choose to convert additional files if needed.
