This guide will walk you through using AI Studios' AI Video Generator, the standalone version for generating videos. If you're looking for a simpler video generation option that doesn't require credits, check out the basic model available directly within the AI Studios video editor. How to Use an AI Video Generator
Step 1: Navigate to AI Video Generator
There are two ways to access the AI Video Generator tool:
Option 1: Access Directly
Open the “AI Generator” tab in the AI Studios dashboard. You'll find Video Generator listed in the menu.
Option 2: Use the Main Dashboard Input Bar
Type your video idea or topic into the input bar.
Make sure the selected tool is Video Generator
Click the arrow button to move to the next step.
Step 2: Enter a Text Prompt
Write a clear and detailed description of the video you want to generate. The more specific and descriptive your prompt, the better the AI will be at creating the video you envision.
Step 3: (Optional) Enter a Negative Prompt
Negative prompts specify what you don’t want in the video. For example, if you don’t want a background element or specific visual style, include it here. This helps refine the video’s results by excluding unwanted features.
Examples:
"No people in the background"
"Avoid bright colors"
"No text overlays"
Step 4: Choose the Duration of the Video
Specify the length of your video. You can select between a 5-second or 10-second clip. Keep in mind that each second of video generation uses 1 Generative Credit, so longer videos will cost more credits.
Step 5: Choose the Video Orientation
Select the video orientation that fits your platform:
Landscape (16:9): Ideal for widescreen use (e.g., YouTube).
Portrait (9:16): Perfect for mobile or social media content (e.g., Instagram stories, TikTok).
Square (1:1): Suitable for platforms like Instagram and Facebook feeds.
Step 6: Generate the Video
Click Generate to start the video creation process. AI Studios will process your request and create the video based on your prompt and settings. It may take a few moments for the video to be generated.
Step 7: Download or Use in AI Projects
Once you’re happy with the video:
Option 1: Download the video directly to your device.
Option 2: Add the video to a new AI video project in AI Studios. It will automatically be added to the project, and you can continue editing and customizing it.
