Video Rendering Limits and Queue Explained

When you export a video, it's added to a processing queue before it's rendered. This doc explains how the queue works, what you see while your video waits, and what to do if it takes too long.

How video processing works

To keep access fair and prevent abuse, AI Studios processes videos in a queue:

  • Your plan includes a monthly number of priority-processed videos, which are rendered faster.

  • When you've used them up, your videos are processed in the standard queue, which may take longer.

  • On weekdays, the average processing time is under 24 hours. Weekends are often faster (based on U.S. time zones).

Note: Enterprise users always get top-priority processing.

See if your video is in the queue

To check your video:

  1. Click Projects in the left menu of the dashboard.

  2. Find your project card. While the video is waiting, the card shows Processing in Queue. Hover over it to see Video in Queue for Processing.

  3. When rendering starts, the card shows Processing with a percentage and the estimated time. When it's done, the card shows View Video.

Your video may wait in the queue when:

  • You've used your priority videos for the month.

  • There's a temporary spike in demand.

  • The video is longer than 10 minutes, which may take more time.

Report a stuck video

To get help with a video that's still waiting:

  1. If the video has been in the queue for less than 36 hours, it's still within the normal processing window.

  2. If it has been in the queue for more than 36 hours, open the project with Edit and copy the full address from your browser's address bar. The last part of the address is your Project ID.

  3. Contact support and include the Project ID.

Get faster processing

To reduce wait times, upgrade your plan to get more priority videos. You can also click Upgrade for Faster Results! on a waiting project card. See How do I upgrade my AI Studios account?

FAQ

Can I cancel a video that's already in the queue?
Not at the moment. Once a video is submitted, it stays in the queue until it's done.

Can I choose which videos get processed first?
No. Queued videos are processed in the order they were created. If you upgrade, new videos get your new priority, but videos already in the queue keep their position.

Can I edit a project while it's waiting?
Yes. If you change it and export again, the new export is added to the queue as a new job.

When do my priority videos reset?
Every month, on the date and time you started your subscription. For example, if you upgraded on the 12th at 3 PM, they reset on the 12th of each month at 3 PM. It's not the first day of the month.

Does video length affect processing time?
Yes. Videos longer than 10 minutes often need more time to render, even if you still have priority videos left.

What happens if something goes wrong during processing?
The system tries again automatically. If the problem continues, contact support with your Project ID.

Can I speed things up by deleting and exporting the video again?
No. A new export is a new job and goes to the back of the queue.
