Use a YouTube link in Video Agent to download the video or dub it into another language. This doc shows the two ways to start and how the tools open inside Video Agent.

Paste only the link

To choose what to do from a card:

  1. Paste a YouTube video link into the chat box. Send only the link, with no other words.

  2. Click the arrow button (Send). The agent asks “This is a YouTube video. What would you like to do?”

  3. Choose Download, AI dubbing, or Narrated video.

The choices work like this:

  • Download: save the YouTube video as an mp4 file.

  • AI dubbing: translate and dub the YouTube video into another language.

  • Narrated video: make a new narrated video about the video.

Ask with the link

To go straight to the tool:

  1. Type what you want and add the link, for example “Download this video” or “Dub this video”, followed by the YouTube link.

  2. Click the arrow button (Send). The agent skips the card and opens the tool you asked for.

Note: The tool opens right away only when your words ask to download or dub, for example with “download”, “save”, “dub”, or “translate”. With other words, the agent shows the card so you can choose.

Download or dub in the side panel

When you choose Download or AI dubbing, or ask for it with the link:

  1. The Video Downloader or AI Dubbing tool opens on the right, with your link.

  2. Finish the steps in the tool, the same way you use it from the dashboard.

  3. Click Open in new tab to use the tool in a full page, or Close to close the panel.

💡 Tip: If you close the panel, click Open Video Downloader or Open AI Dubbing in the chat to open it again.

Note: Downloads count toward your plan's download limit. AI dubbing uses credits like the AI Dubbing tool.

FAQ

Can I attach a video file instead of a link?
Yes, but an attached video is not kept when the tool opens. Attach it again in the tool.
