The proofreading feature in AI Dubbing gives you more control and accuracy when working with translated videos. Available to Team and Enterprise plan users, this tool lets you fine-tune every part of the dubbed video to make sure it sounds just right.
With proofreading, you can:
Edit the translated script for clarity or tone
Confirm that the correct speaker was detected
Change the voice for any segment
Adjust the timing of translations for better sync
Using this feature helps ensure your video feels natural and professional across different languages.
How to Proofread a Dubbed Video
Step 1: Open the Proofread Editor
Click [Proofread] to open the editing page.
Please note that it may take a few minutes for the proofreading page to load. The processing time depends on the file size, video quality, and number of target languages.
Step 2: Edit Script
If you notice any translations that sound unnatural or don’t match the intended meaning, you can click on the text box to edit the script directly.
Step 3: Adjust Speakers
If the AI assigned speakers incorrectly, click the "Speaker" menu to correct the script and assign the correct speaker. Use the preview feature to verify the changes were applied correctly.
Step 4: Change Voice
The default setting clones the original speaker’s voice for the translation. If you'd like to change the voice in the final dubbed video, select a new voice from the AI voice library.
Step 6: Preview the Changes
If the translated script is too long or too short, you can adjust the timing of the segment by manually setting where it begins and ends. Keep in mind that segments cannot overlap, as AI Dubbing does not currently support simultaneous speakers.
However, this is not recommended, as the automatic dubbing is designed to match the original timing. Changing it may affect the natural flow, so please make adjustments carefully.
Step 7: Preview the Changes
Click the play button to preview the dubbing.
