What is SCORM?
SCORM stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model. It’s a widely used file format for uploading training content to Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, and more.
A SCORM package allows you to track learner activity, such as how much of a video someone has watched, whether they completed it, or how they performed on quizzes.
In AI Studios, you can export any video project as a SCORM package. This makes it easy to integrate your video into your LMS and set clear completion rules for learners.
How to Export SCORM Packages in AI Studios
Step 1: Open the video
From your Projects page, hover over the video you want to share and click View Video.
Step 2: Click “Publish”
Click the Publish button in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Choose SCORM format
In the pop-up menu, select either SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004, depending on what your LMS supports. Both formats are commonly accepted.
Step 4: Set completion criteria
Choose a percentage that marks the video as complete.
For example, setting the threshold to 80% means the LMS will record completion once a viewer watches 80 percent of the video. You can adjust this number based on your training requirements.
Step 5: Download the SCORM package
Click Export SCORM Package to save the SCORM file to your device. Upload it to your LMS to start tracking progress and completion.
